Dear Eurovision Fan,

We have now received the statement from CyBC following their investigation of the matter:

The mobile telephone company, MTN, admitted that they had a technical fault in its network during the voting window which prevented callers from accessing the voting numbers. MTN issued an official apology to its callers.

As this company has a very small percentage share of the Cypriot mobile phone market, and the winning song won by a large margin, we believe that this did not affect the final result.

The EBU have accepted the statement.
